The Alligator - Shoot Day

The Arts and Labor crew spent the day shooting Jeff Marrow's short film The Alligator. It's a new collaborative we started. We hope to shoot a short film each month. So far two down, many more to go. Eric and I created the sound department. I've never been a part of the sound department. I got to work with the lav mics, boomed some shots (until my arms got tired and I handed it back to Eric) and kept up with my logs. Jeff was fortunate to have a pretty kick ass crew and a huge grip truck. Lucky duck. All in all it went really well. I think he'll have a super cute film on his hands. They have a lengthy post production because it's heavily animated. It was a fun day. Making movies with your friends rules.
