The Commentary

"To be creative, you have to be willing to fail" - Peter Brooks
They shot Lord of the Flies for $250,000. Almost all non-actors. 3 month shoot, no parents. The DP had never shot a motion picture before. Brooks took a very documentary style approach to the shoot. 2 cameras. They let the scenes play out and captured them naturally. The spirit of the film and the shoot is completely inspiring. A major recommendation.
