On the horizon

I'm home now after spending much of the morning and early afternoon at the 1886 Bakery at the Driskill. Stacy and I had some nice conversations/meetings about BRAIN BRAWL. I feel good about having that script ready. It took a little while to get there, but I'm glad I did. Especially now. It's nice to have one film in a theater and another one on paper, ready to go. It's almost been kind of funny dividing my time between the two.

My parents leave in the morning. I've barely had much time with them because of ... well the festival and everything. They were able to spend a good amount of time with Mark's folks. It was nice to watch them all hanging out on Saturday. Mark and I got really lucky to be born into good families. We really did.
